Connie Francis Press Conference

A 1959 hot pink Cadillac convertible; the World Famous Elbo Room; muscle boys decked out in vintage beach attire; and the star of the 1960 hit movie Where The Boys Are . . . Put it all together and you have the makings for a one-of-a-kind nostalgic event to celebrate a special time in Fort Lauderdale’s history.

On Friday, January 29, 2010 at 4:30 p.m., Connie Francis, star of Where The Boys Are, will join Fort Lauderdale Mayor John P. “Jack” Seiler and other dignitaries at a press conference on Fort Lauderdale Beach to mark the 50th Anniversary of the film and announce plans for a major special event scheduled for May 28 - 29, 2010.

NO LONGER MISSING SIAMESE CAT!!!

My little Siamese cat, Jaxx, went missing on Dec 19. I've been relentlessly signing the 'hood since, running down every lead and exhaustively pursuing his return.

FOR THOSE MANY OF YOU WHO HAVE CARED AND HELPED IN THIS EFFORT I WANT YOU TO KNOW MIRACLE OF MIRACLES - AFTER TWO MONTHS MISSING - JAXX IS BACK!

I can only piece the story together but he wandered VERY far from home and was picked up near Fed Hwy between 26th St/Oakland Park Blvd on VALENTINE'S DAY and dropped off at the Animal Shelter on Griffin Rd. Utterly amazing.
