Building a Better Poinsettia Heights: A Heartfelt Message from Our President
Hear from our Poinsettia Heights Civic Association President, Jim LaBrie, about the real impact your membership has on our neighborhood.
In this video, Jim shares how PHCA helped protect funding for Sunrise Middle School so our “park desert” community can finally have a beautiful new park for everyone to enjoy. He also highlights our collaboration with the police to reduce truck traffic cutting through our streets — just two examples of what we can accomplish when we work together.
For only $30 per household per year, your membership helps us advocate for safer streets, better amenities, and a stronger, more connected community. There is so much more PHCA is doing with the City of Fort Lauderdale on behalf of our neighbors, and we can’t do it without you.

Poinsettia Heights Civic Association is proud to support Tip‑A‑Cop and Special Olympics Florida! 🌟 On April 9, our board member Michele presented a donation check to Patrick, one of the amazing Special Olympics athletes. We’re grateful for our dedicated law enforcement officers who work hard to keep Poinsettia Heights safe and strong every day. 💙 Thank you especially to Officer Victoria Rodriguez and Public Service Aide Judy Schilter.
