The Poinsettia Heights Civic Association is actively involved with the City of Fort Lauderdale concerning unregistered Vacation Rentals located within our Neighborhood.

Ordinances require that Vacation Rentals in the City of Fort Lauderdale must be registered via the City of Fort Lauderdale's Vacation Rental Registration Page. Unfortunately, there are many Vacation Rentals in our neighborhood that are available to be rented through web sites such as AirBnB, HomesToGo, and other on-line vacation rental sites that are not registered with the City.

 

Unregistered Vacation rentals place a burden on our full time residents attempting to report an issue with a renter, it also makes it difficult for the City's Code Enforcement Department to enforce regulations.

Due to ongoing issues with vacation rentals within our neighborhood, our Association is partnering with the City of Fort Lauderdale to assist in identifying Vacation Rentals located within Poinsettia Heights that may not be registered with the City. We are in hopes that this partnership will help to alleviate some of the issues that are encountered.

 

Through our on-line reporting form below, you are now able to report the location of a vacation rental directly to the City of Fort Lauderdale's Vacation Rental Registration Enforcement Division.
